Packaging
Our company can supply packs for soft and hinge-lid packs. We print blanks on a variety of cardboards depending on customer's specific need.
Cardboards used for hinge lids packs are usually 100% wood pulp virgin fibers and can be:
Duplex cardboard: treated with a chemical or mechanical mixture and one side coated
Triplex cardboard: treated with a chemical or mechanical mixture and two sides coated
Labels are usually printed on "one side coated papers" in a range between 80 and 95 gsm. Printing is performed by a 10 colours rotogravure machine as well as off set machine. The use of a good cardboard is a necessary but not a sufficient condition to achieve the best results.
In fact, creasing operations are also very important to obtain a blank with the perfect machinability, folding properties and consequently a good finished product.
A long time co-operation with machines manufactures let us get a big experience in this field.
On the soft pack side the importance of paper is greater than on the hinge-lid packs.
For this reason, the choice of the higher paper both if you print on Roto or offset is fundamental.
Not all the one side coated papers are suitable to be used on soft packs packaging machines.
The great experience developed directly in the production sites brought us to have a deep knowledge of all the involved problems.
Tobacco pouches and flexible packaging
Our company is specialized in supplying flexible packaging, including tobacco pouches.
Our line of products covers a wide range of laminating materials including BOPP, PE, PVDC lacquered, metallized films, polyester, nylon. For the tobacco industry, we can supply a special material, which is metallized reverse printed PETP 12 micron/PE 80 micron white with peel stripe.
This particular product is widely used by all the cut tobacco producers for its wholesome features: flavor barrier properties, good printing results and easy handling.
We supply this material in bobbins, suitable for running with automatic filling machines, like for example Focke model 203 S. Alternatively the material can be supplied in two side sealed pouches, which can be filled and closed in the correspondence of the peel stripe. It is possible to customize this kind of preformed pouch, with regards to printing design and kind of sealing.
The printing of all the above materials is executed with a last generation 10 colours gravure and we electronically engrave all the printing cylinders with the most modern equipment.
Finally, we can supply customized bags of different sizes than the sizes of traditional pipe tobacco or tobacco for RYO use, to contain, for example, quantities of less than 20-40 grams (inflorescences or other kinds of herbs available on the legal market).
Booklets
We can supply booklets with several kinds of RYO papers.
You can find hereafter a list of the available booklet sizes, with indication of the number of sheets per booklet (please be noted that some size variation may occur):

- 45 x 77 mm / 40 sheets
- 45 x 108 mm / 32 sheets
- 54 x 97 mm / 32 sheets
- 54 x 108 mm / 32 sheets
- Double Window / 100 sheets
Booklets can be personalized in the printing of the shell, which can be made according to the graphics provided by the customer. Booklets are supplied inside trays that can be also personalized in the graphics, ready to be positioned on the sales counter.
Special polypropylene straps
Specifically used to fasten bales of tobacco leaves. They differ from the normal straps because of a greater elasticity, suitable to fit volume variations typical of tobacco bales. These straps, supplied in rolls, can be used with Signode machinery, and they are typically supplied in black or white colour.
